Nicolas Mbog is a personal trainer, expert in fitness & nutrition, specialized in physical transformation. Endowed with extreme dedication to help people, he has been a coach for more than 16 years. Traveling between France and the USA, he changes the lives of his students by guiding them towards well-being with his innate smile and optimism.

"Whether it's muscle mass gain or weight loss, I've never met a person I could not transform."

As for weight loss, we must admit that he knows a lot about it. Indeed, since the age of five, Nicolas Mbog has practiced competitive martial arts; these are weight class sports requiring strict weight limits to compete. Often too heavy for his competitions, he tried all the diets he heard about from only drinking soup, to running with sweat clothing or even fasting for days... but none of them were sustainable for the long term.

His passion for martial arts, sports, physical preparation and nutrition led him to pursue his studies in this field. Thus, following his scientific baccalaureate, he continued his studies in STAPS bachelor and master degree in training, health and nutrition. He then taught a variety of group training classes throughout the gyms of Paris before specializing in individual sports; nutrition coaching and movement science. As a personal trainer, he created his training method and took care of the physical preparation of top athletes and changed the lives of his many students in France and Los Angeles by instilling a healthy lifestyle. While as a child he wanted to be an architect, he changed his path, realizing the two professions have one thing in common: "The architect draws plans so that you can have the house of your dreams. A trainer draws the plan for you to get the body of your dreams. I am the architect for your body and your mind."

He worked for five years as the head of the fitness division of a dietary and weight loss clinic in Val d'Oise. This experience taught him a lot about weight loss. Constantly confronted with the psychological suffering and physical limitations of those challenged with obesity, he decided to continue his research on the management of obesity by working with some of the most well-regarded doctors in nutrition in all of Europe. Thus, Nicolas Mbog started to work with Dr. Dukan. He integrated his training method into various projects of the doctor. First of all on the weight loss MSC cruises and then during the development of the new website of the Dukan method.

In order to guide as many people as possible to well being, Nicolas Mbog frequently works with the media, TV channels, radio and the press. Since 2009, Nicolas Mbog has been working with CoachClub, a French  fitness company, to offer fitness classes in video via television and the Internet. He made fitness accessible for people who do not have a gym near their home, who find that the class are not adapted to their level, or who prefer to train in a more intimate way. He created several programs:

The Step: It is from this discipline that it took its first steps by proposing 30 evolutive sessions going from the beginner level to the most advanced level.

. Tonic@Work & Zen@Work: Two disciplines to relax and train in the office. These courses were a great success with many working professionals who, thanks to Nicolas, moved daily, and relieved their tensions due to maintaining the sitting position all day.

. Back to Exercise: Nicolas Mbog relied on one observation: various fitness rooms as well as the video sports classes are not intended for overweight people. He created the discipline Back to Exercise to allow people suffering from obesity to move according to their abilities.

. Move@Work: Not everyone works at an office, and some workers also need physical activity; this is particularly the case for those in a  physical occupation. Many of them are injured on a daily basis because their bodies are not prepared for the effort. It is from this problematic that Nicolas Mbog created Move@Work, the first video lessons of warm-up and physical preparation for the effort before starting work.

. Muscle Awakening: Helping people in five minutes every morning to wake-up gently, recharge their batteries, and get ready for the day.

Since 2014 Nicolas Mbog has worked with various magazines such as Elle, Men's Health, Men's Fitness, Coach, Biba and Vital. He was interviewed about the fitness and nutrition questions of the readers, as well as providing fitness advice and programming during health events. In 2016, his collaboration went further with the magazine Vital: He created a six month weight loss challenge for the readers--an adventure that you don't want to miss!

During the year 2015, Nicolas Mbog was contacted by the French TV channel M6 to host a program bringing his expertise to viewers. You can find him regularly on M6 Boutique and M6Boutique & Co where he explains, provides tips and advice to stay in shape.

In 2017, always anxious to help as many people as possible, Nicolas Mbog embarked on a new experience: Writing. In his first book "I Will Make You Love Your Body", you will discover his coaching method with which he was able to help so many people. His second book "Cross Training Zero Blabla" is an excellent introduction to Crossfit and the third "Body Sculpt Zero Blabla" is a marvelous training book that you can use anywhere.

Today, still in the idea of making physical activity available to all, Nicolas Mbog has become the fitness director of ClickButler. If you travel far from home and want to continue your training with a coach, yoga teacher, Pilates or even martial arts, Clickbutler makes that possible via its app.

He told us recently:

"I dream of a world where the vast majority of people get up motivated for their day, every day, do things that their minds and bodies need in order to be better, and go to bed each evening one step closer to well-being.

Everything I do, be it writing, speaking, teaching or otherwise, is dedicated to this cause. "
